A unique location in Europe - more than just a transport centre – by road, rail & sea

The Port of Mo I Rana is situated at the intersection of major road rail and sea networks, half the way up Norway’s rugged coastline. The distance by road is 1502 kilometres to Kirkenes and 1438 to Lindesnes. The port is located near E6 and E12 to Sweden, Finland & Russia and has good connection to both. The port handles more than 3.7 million ton of goods yearly. Two of the quays are directly connected to NSB’s (The Norwegian Railroad) main railway network. The Mo i Rana Airport is at Røssvoll circa 12 km from the City Centre of Mo i Rana , and has frequent connection daily with the main air routes from Trondheim and Bodø.
